Kyli John

Human interaction is a central theme underlying Kyli John's work. Through the creation of abstract and figurative paintings, she reflects on the relationships people have with themselves, with one another, and with surrounding objects. The resulting oeuvre communicates her observations, explorations and contemplations on human interaction. Her series entitled “Collisions” deals with the relationship between two people - two circles with outward radiating layers. Color plays a defining roll allowing the space of collision to present itself and intermingle – different each time, implying the inherent variability of each interaction.
